Ray Ferry, one of the Society's Vice-Presidents, has passed on a recommendation for this book that he has received from non-member Marie T. Capps, living in the USA. The author, Jane Kurtz, spent her childhood in Gondar and this story, composed especially for girls, is set during the reign of Yohannes III. The book is about 200 pages in length and contains a glossary and has some excellent photos of people and art.
