An evening of engagement with the ancient and unfolding history of the homeland of humankind, on the eastern threshold of Africa; the Axumite kingdom, rock-hewn churches and much more.

There will be an opportunity to visit Nick Danziger's exhibition of photographs on display at the RGS, Between Heaven and Earth: a journey through Christian Ethiopia, during the evening.

Talk to be followed by a buffet supper/reception at the nearby Ethiopian Embassy.
