Scientific Exploration Society, and Anglo-Ethiopian Society, member Gerard Pillai has visited the alluring Omo Valley in Ethiopia many times whilst researching his recently published book ‘The Fish Eagle’s Lament’. His audience will get an intimate and heartfelt visual and verbal insight into the customs, dress, food, landscape and wildlife of one of the last true tribal lands in Africa.
