Songs We Learn From Trees - An Anthology of Ethiopian Amharic Poetry

Join us for an afternoon of bilingual readings and discussion of the vibrant poetry scene in Addis Ababa, with:

& editor/translator, Chris Beckett.

Supported by Arts Council England, The Anglo-Ethiopian Society and Friends of Ethiopian Poetry.

The poets will read not only from their own work but also work by other poets included in the anthology. They will answer any questions the audience may have about the thriving poetry scene in Addis Ababa.
