An evening of Ethiopian music, food, art & travel, taking you to Addis Ababa and beyond.

Arkestra Presents is delighted to launch with the thrill-seeking YellowWood Adventures a night of Ethiopian music, food, art & travel in the heart of Brixton Market. Partnering with Ethiopian musicians, chefs and artists, Arkestra Presents take you on a journey across a rich cultural heritage of sound, taste and vision.

Headline act Krar Collective brings a colourful feast of mind-blowing Ethiopian grooves. Led by Temesgen Zeleke, a former student of Ethiojazz legend Mulatu Astatke, Krar Collective perform a rootsy yet contemporary take on traditional music from Ethiopia based on other-worldly modes and driven by hypnotic rhythms.

London based Ethiopian Harar Restaurant serves four dishes on injera, the savoury pancake made from the super-grain teff, topped with a combination of vegetarian wats, roasted meats, spices and traditional flavours.
